Since then, she has performed lead roles and solos for the Canadian Children's Opera Company. Productions include Brundibar (2017), The Snow Queen (2019), The Monkiest King (2018) and Songs for a New World (2020). In June of 2023, Alia was honoured to be a part of the COSA (Centre for Opera Studies & Appreciation) Canada at Mount Allison summer vocal intensive. Currently, she is in her fourth year at the University of Toronto studying classical voice performance under the tutelage of Frederique Vezina. Alia is in the chorus of UofT Opera's Opera Undergrad Ensemble. As part of the Chorus, she was in the Fall 2023 production of Nino Rota's Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze and the winter 2024 production of Massenet’s Cendrillon as a Spirit/Fairy #1. In her studies, she continues to work on two duets recitatives for the Opera Undergrad Ensemble's recit concert in March, and is practicing for her graduating recital.
